The

Brand

A brand is more than a company or a logo, it is the reputation and identity behind it. The brands we wear becomes a reflection of who we are and what we represent when we wear them.

Jesus used an illustration to describe his teachings by referring to oxen and the farming tool that is placed on them to accomplish plowing a field. Jesus stated he is gentle and humble at heart.

OXEN is more than a logo or a name, it represents the values of Jesus Christ and his teachings that we are called to live by.

The

Ring

Oxen's noses were pierced with a ring, used as a training tool to lead the oxen in the direction it needs to go or correct stubbornness, as they learned to listen to the commands of their master. Oxen were not known by simply the brand mark they wore, but whose commands they followed.

The OXEN Ring represents a love and trust we have for the Master (Jesus) by being obedient to his voice. The ring reminds us to be sensitive to the voice of Jesus, to hear and obey his commands.

The

Yoke

A yoke is a wooden beam used between a pair of oxen to enable them to pull together on a load when working in pairs, as oxen usually do in fields. A yoke also described a certain type of Biblical teaching that people followed.

Jesus described his "yoke" by saying in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

Jesus also commanded his followers to "go, and make disciples" - teaching others about the commands of Jesus.

The yoke represents the Way of Jesus through a life of discipleship.

The

Oxen Team

When oxen are joined together, it is called a team.

The OXEN Team is a community of believers who want to be better equipped biblically. It is for those who truly have a desire to carry the yoke of Christ.

We yoke together true disciples of Jesus, to dig into God's Word and obey what it says to do, so that together we can make disciples of all nations.
